Thanks for the reply. Datasource contains only one date as char. Based on an indicator we are differentiating as Start and End dates in BEx. How can we differentiate if date is used as char.

Are you suggesting to differentiate at transformation level itself. I tried it before and unable to achieve as the start and end dates are not aligning into the same row.
